Hlo mate.......

Muscular Dystrophy: This is mostly hereditary. It causes progressive weakness and degeneration of skeletal muscle, which controls movement. Tetany: It is caused due to low blood calcium and is characterized by rapid or wild spasms. Arthritis: Inflammation of one or more joints.

Disorders of muscular system :

Common primary diseases of the muscular system include inflammatory myopathies, such as polymyositis and dermatomyositis , musculardystrophy, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, rhabdomyolysis, and cardiomyopathy, among others.

Disorders of skeletal system :

This is a disease in which the bones become fragile and prone to fracture. Leukemia: This is a cancer of the white blood cells. Osteopenia, osteitis deformans, and osteomalacia: Similar to osteoporosis, these are other types of bone loss.

Muscles connect to your skeleton and they contract and move the skeleton along. Yourskeletal system is made up of cartilage and calcified bone that work together. They help the process of movement happen in a smoother manner. The calcified bones of your skeleton also work with the circulatory system.

Hope this will help you......

Disorders of the Skeletal System

Disorders of the Skeletal SystemOsteoporosis: A very commonly occurring disease that is characterized by reduced mineral density in bones. It is more common in women as compared to men. Due to the decreased density of the bones, they are highly susceptible to fractures.

Arthritis: Another very common disease found commonly in the elderly population. It is a disease of the joints and is of many types. Rheumatoid arthritis is a type of arthritis that is autoimmune in nature because the body’s cells destroy the cells in the joints. Another type of arthritis is osteoarthritis which a degenerative disease.

Spondylitis: Like arthritis, spondylitis is also a group of disorders that primarily affect the spine.

Both these diseases are characterized by reduced amounts of calcium and phosphorous in bones making them fragile. Kidney disease and heredity are other causes of these diseases.

Due to this, the bones move from their original position to a slightly different one or change angulation. Fractures are a break in the bones due to an injury. There can be many types of fractures depending upon the impact force, the kind of bone and location of the bones.

Often confused one for the other, they are different disorders. A sprain occurs due to injury to the ligament and the joint is twisted but there is no dislocation of the bones.
