Swami Vivekananda has Ammensed knowledge and very strong will power .He was born in reputed family of Kolkata on 12th January 1863 . The childhood name of Swami Vivekananda was narendranath .His father's name was vishwanath Dutta and mother's name was bhuvaneshwari Devi. he used his power for the reformation of Indian society . he was the pilgrim of the city of godliness and the great Warrior who fought for the upliftment of Dalits.

His guru was swami Nath Krishna paramhans .He was the main discipline of Ramkrishna Parshuram at the time of his dad in 1886 . Swami Vivekananda was 24 years of age and took vow that he will spend all of his life in spreading the messages of his Guru .He sacrificed the family life and become Saint .He wandered in the Forest of Himalayas and did meditation . He travelled throughout the country and had an opportunity to understand the sufferings of the people.

Swami Vivekananda went to America in 1893 really addressed the all religion conference in Chicago .His address impressed everyone in the conference.

Swami Vivekananda returned to India on 16 December 1895 .He founded Ram Krishna mission at vellore near Calcutta in 1897 .he did great social service by establishing many branches of the mission schools, hospitals ,orphanage, and libraries etc. He once again travelled in western countries . He founded " Shanti Ashram " and" Vedanta society" in Sen franciso . He died on 4 July 1902 at 9 p.m. at the young age of 39 years .
