Anti colonial movement in Kenya:The strongest of all was the Mau Mau while others were dissolved after independence.Mau Mau was very strong during its existence using tactics such as guerilla warfare & surprise attacks to suppress the colonist.
Nationalism in Kenya was entirely different with the one of India as the Mau Mau movement owe much murderous bunch of thugs. These was as a result of the branch of fighting for freedom, the Kikuyu formed secret socities which united with one objective,to break British rule while India's nationalism was purely based on non-violence efforts & principles of Mahatma Gandhi who advocated mass movements through non -cooperation,boycott & civil disobedience.

In Kenya, the fight for freedom struggle was entirely different from Indian freedom struggle. The Mau-Mau movement in Kenya was a murderous bunch of thugs. It was totally involved in violence and gorilla warfare. The Mau-Mau movement went for a long time in Kenya and British were forced to take extreme steps like identification of accused and conducting of secret trials, suspension of civil rights etc.
While the Indian nationalist movement was based on Mahatma Gandhi's non-violence and peaceful efforts and various movements like Civil Disobedience, Non-Cooperation movement, Boycott etc.
