- the blood from large veins called venacava enters into right atrium(RA). These blood is de-oxygenated blood which comes from lower and upper body parts.
- when the pressure in atrium rises then the blood from right atrium is pumped into right ventricle this is called atrial contraction.
- the right ventricles contract and the de-oxygenated blood flows to the lungs through pulmonary artery.
- oxygen is added to the blood and this oxygenated from lungs enters into left atrium through pulmonary vein.
- pressure in left atrium increases so it contracts and blood is pored into left ventricle.
- when the pressure rises in the left ventricle then the blood is pumped into aorta and transported to all parts of the body.
