Answer : algae have different shape and size for example it can be filamentous in spirogyra ,spherical in volvox,cylindrical in ulothrix.

2.true root and stem are absent in algae .

3. having thallus like body ,attached with soil by substratum.

4.these are classified into three groups on the basis of cell wall composition , storage of food material ,different type spore s and pigment storage.
