There are two types of computer memory:-

1) Ram (random access memory)

2) Rom (read only memory)

Explanation:

1) Ram:- the internal memory that can be read from as well as written to is called RAM i.e. random access memory . The random access memory is volatile that is its content ate lost when power is turn off .

1) Rom :- In this memory, information once stored remains fixed that is it cannot be changed . so, Rom can only be read and used ; it cannot be changed or written onto . The content of ROM remains stored even if power is turn off .
