Metallurgy means the study of metal , its property and its uses. Ancient India has huge contribution in this field.
There are many examples that can prove it:
- the statue of dancing girl is the best specimen
- the statue of lord Shiva known as "Natraj" god of dance was found and now it is kept in a museum safely.
- many other statues like, statue of bearded man, statues of lord buddha and the statue of the great archer lord Ram was found.
This all clearly proves that India has contributed a lot in the field of metallurgy.
