Neon is a colorless and odorless gas. It usually comes under the category of inert gases i.e. gases that do not react easily. The gas was discovered in 1898 by  Morris Travers, William Ramsay.

Uses- Neon is also used to make high-voltage indicators, switching gear, lightning arresters, diving equipment and lasers.
