Three major crises led to radical changes in all areas of society: demographic collapse, political instabilities and religious upheavals.

◆Demographic Collapse- Under this the storms and oceanic flooding destroyed many farmsteads, which resulted in less income in taxes for the government.●

Population growth was outstripping resources and the immediate reason was famine.

◆Political instabilities- trade was hit by a severe shortage of metal money because of shortfall in the output of silver mines in Austria and Serbia.

◆Religious upheaval -Many people started to question churches and whether it's own problem caused this disaster.

Churches also led many reform movements and religious movements challenging the authority of church.
