Khushwant Singh and her grandmother used to live with each other in a village when writer's parents were in the city.
His grandmother used to do his works, She used to bath him , Go to school with him spent her time in temple beside the school and come back with writer.
They both have a great bond, Khushwant was living happily with his grandmother without parents.
After coming to city, situations got change, writer used to go school with bus , He used to study in English medium school so grandmother can't help him in studies. She started spending her time in feeding sparrows and spinning wheel.
But grandmother's love was still like that. They have shared a great bond, Grandmother was with writer in his each and every step . She made his childhood memorable.
