hi..friend,
froth flotation method is based on the principle of the difference in the preferential wettability of the ore and gangue.this method is applied for sulphide ores.in this,the ore is taken in a large tank containing oil (pine oil)and water .it is agitated with a current of compressed air.the ore is wetted by the oil and separates from gangue in the form of a froth.
