Adolescence also known as teenage i.e. The age of 13 yrs to 19 yrs is a period in which many changes occur during the body. During this period adolescents become sexually and mentally mature. It is important to consume a balanced diet because growth takes place during this period. Teenagers have cravings for junk food but it is important to eat nutritious food. Junk food isn't nutritious so it should be avoided. Physical fitness is also very important. It is important to exercise or do some other physical activity. Sweat glands become more active during adolescence, so it also important for adolescents to take a bath daily so it is important to maintain personal hygiene. So it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle during adolescence.
