A literacy-rich environment emphasizes the importance of speaking, reading, and writing in the learning of all students. Apart from the learning elements of reading, writing, listening and speaking, a learning environment where visual communication and representation of information is becoming common and helps the students in better understanding.

Visual elements include wall charts, slides, flashcards, pictures, etc.

Visuals elements are a good “reason” to motivate students to interact with a new or known language because they can clearly “see” the language in use by means of meaningful elements which call their attention and, at the same time, motivate them to use the language in different ways.

Conceiving information in a visual manner allows students who are struggling to understand a topic to develop their ability and understand better.
