Southernmost range of Himalayan System is called as Shiwalika range. It varies between 900 and 1100 m. Area between Shiwalika and lesser Himalayas consists some valleys. E.g. Degrading, Kotli Dun, Patli Dun, etc. These are clearly seen in western parts. They almost merge in lesser Himalayas.
