Nervous system in our body is very important and crucial for sending information and messages from the receptors to the effectors for quick response. Nervous system consists of the system of nerves there are different types of nerves for example the spinal nerves and cranial nerve the spinal nerve is present in a spinal cord and cranial nerves are present in the inside our brain.
The smallest unit of a nerve is known as neurone
Neurone transmit the messages in the form of electrical impulses through the dendrites and finally passes to the end of the axon from where the chemical neurotransmitter is secreted by the accident which passes the information from one nerve ending to the dendrite other neurone.
Function of nervous system are as follows
It helps to communicate the receptors with the brain for getting appropriate response.
It also follows reflex arc for the reflex actions case of any emergency or a quick response.
