\bold {Pineal \:gland} :- This gland is a small endocrine gland located near the centre of the brain in between two hemispheres. Its role is to secrete melatonin hormone that regulates sleep patterns. Its shape resembles a tiny pine cone (hence its name), and it is located near the centre of the brain, between the two hemispheres, tucked in a groove where the two rounded thalamic bodies join.

\bold {Thyroid\: gland} :- This gland is a large ductless gland in the neck which secretes hormones regulating growth and development through the rate of metabolism. It is a large cartilage of the larynx, a projection of which forms the Adam's apple in humans.
