The Taj Mahal was built by shah Jahan in memory of his be loved wife mumtaz Mahal. the work started in 1631 and was and was finished in 1653 ustad is service the master architect of his monument . the cost of the construction was rupees 3 crores and it had taken about 22 years to complete the whole project it is situated on the bank of yamuna river in Agra.
