INTRUSIVE IGNEOUS ROCKS

The intrusive igneous rocks are formed beneath the earth's surface in the cracks & bents in very high temperature. These rocks takes along time to cool/solidify.. Ex - granite

EXTRUSIVE IGNEOUS ROCKS

The extrusive igneous rocks are formed by the cooling of lava on the surface of the earth. The rate of cooling is faster than the intrusive rocks. Ex-pumice

NOTE:

The crystals formed in intrusive igneous rocks are large where as the  crystals formed in extrusive igneous rocks are small..
