There are 2 major types of education formal and informal. Our modern-day's educational framework as we know it today in form of schools, colleges, and universities falls under the formal education category. It has proved to be effective in the past but now there is a widespread opinion that this structure merely emphasises theoretical knowledge only, whereas in today's era only skills are valued. The second type is informal education which is less popular and this includes homeschooling or self-teaching. This doesn’t hold much value as there is no regulatory body that recognizes the credibility of one knowledge.
