Plasma: the 4th State of Matter. A plasma is a hot ionized gas consisting of approximately equal numbers of positively charged ions and negatively charged electrons.


A Bose–Einstein condensate (BEC) is a state of matter of a dilute gas of bosons cooled to temperatures very close to absolute zero. Under such conditions, a large fraction of bosons occupy the lowest quantum state .

(1) Plasma :- It is the fourth state of matter . It is super energetic and super excited state of matter. These particles in an ionised gases . It is found in fluroscent tube and neon bulb . It is also found in stars and sun.

(2) Bose - Einstein condensate :- In 1920 Indian scientist Satyendra Nath Bose studied about the fifth state of matter and calculated same data related to it and Einstein also helped in this calculation and later on it , was named on their name as Bose and Einstein condensate. The BEC is formed by cooling a gas of extremely low density about one hundred - thousandth the density of normal air to super low temperature .
