Answer:
Spine, Digestive juices
Explanation:
Spines- Spines are modified leaves that are very pointed and sharp. They are generally found in cacti. It helps to reduce transpiration in deserts and stops the desert animals from eating or plucking them out of the ground, because if they are plucked out, which is generally difficult by human hands, as the roots of cacti are attached deep into the ground, so we need dedicated machinery for the job.
Digestive Juices- This adaptation phenomenon is found in plants, who can't absorb nitrogen from their habitat, as a result of which, they need to take it from the animals, by eating and digesting them. Examples are the Pitcher plant, which has a pitcher, which is a modified version of the stem(probably). Once an insect comes into the pitcher, due to a conducting odor, the entry of the pitcher gets sealed. Then slowly, the plant releases the digestive juices, thereby, digesting the insect slowly. These kinds of plants are known as Insectivorous plants. Examples include - Venus Flytrap, Sundew, Pitcher plant, etc.
