vaccinations

the principle of vaccinations is based on the property of memory of the immune system

it is an artificial passive immunity

in this inactivated or weakened pathogens or antigenic proteins of pathogens are introduced into the body the antibodies produced in the body against these antigens would neutralize the pathogenic agents during actual infections

the vaccines also generate memory B and T cells that recognise the pathogen quickly

it is classified into first , second and third generation vaccines
