Heya!

My favourite poem from my school book is⏩

$\huge{Nine\:Gold\: medals}$

By,David Roth.

It is basically about 9 disabled (handicapped) people participating in special olyampics. They're all about to run 500 mtrs race. One of the participants falls down and all the other 8 hold him and reach the finishing line together and everyone gets a gold medal.

» The central theme of the poem is to " find the beauty in our own duty "

» In our lives we face lot of obstacles and may get distracted...But We shouldn't , we must be focused to our goal.

» The poem presents the difference between sense of beauty and sense of duty.

» we have lot of promises to fulfill so we shouldn't stop at any distractions.

Finally it even touched my heart...and made me remind my goals...
