Answer:
Explanation:The villainy of those who advocate unimaginative sentences does not end with actually. Actually, actually is only one facet of a multipronged pattern of attacks. The injustices forced upon our most beautiful words extend to much deeper, much more despicable places.
While we often take for granted our ability to frolic with free-range parts of speech and smash them together in various bizarre sentences as we explore expansive pastures together, not all words are allowed to live in such ideal, bucolic conditions. A whole subset of our language is currently held in quarantine at an illegal, unsanitary South Pacific leper colony. There, otherwise wonderful adjectives and verbs wither away, secluded from the rest of society by a group of small-minded doctors, handmaidens of the armies of sentence sadness, who callously diagnosed these words as virulent and continually prevent them from coming into contact with even the simplest adverb. Poor adjectives and verbs. We weep for them.
Fortunately, they are building a resistance, and some of the most aggrieved verbs and adjectives are speaking out against these injustices, calling for our help. For the small cost of just one adverb a day, we all can support this noble cause.
The energetic leader of the movement is the scampish rogue verb disappeared. At one time, disappeared was living a healthy, fruitful life, pleasantly abetting criminals who evaded capture and assisting some of our more accomplished wizards. That is, until one day when a pitiable innocent in the crowd of a county fair magic show chose to modify the word by saying, “Those cashews completely disappeared!” Within minutes, disappeared was in chains, bound and gagged in the hull of an unmarked coal steamer headed for Samoa.
The charge? That disappeared is an absolute concept, that something either exists or does not exist and therefore cannot have slightly or mostly disappeared. To them, anything that has disappeared has, by definition, completely disappeared, so this kind of modification is not acceptable. This claim is false and tyrannical. An injustice was committed that day, which is why disappeared needs our help.
