Affirmative Sentence ;

An affirmative word, phrase, or sentence expresses the validity or truth of a basic assertion, while a negative form expresses its falsity.

Examples :

Present Tense:

1. She is Reading.

2. I am a doctor.

Past Tense:

1. They had left for France.

2. She had been waiting for him.

Future Tense:

1. It will snow this winter.

2. She will be travelling.

Negative Sentence;

Negative sentences are declarative statements. That is, they relay information believed to be true. Negative sentences are typically formed by adding the word "not" after the helping verb.

Examples:

Present Tense:

1. She is not reading

2. I am not a doctor.

Past Tense:

1. They hadn't left for France.

2. She hadn't been waiting for him.

Future Tense:

1. It won't snow this winter.

2. She won't be travelling.

Interrogative Sentence;

An interrogative sentence is a sentence that asks a question. The term is used in grammar to refer to features that form questions. Thus, an interrogative sentence is a sentence whose grammatical form shows that it is a question.

Examples

Present Tense :

1. Is she reading?

2. Am I doctor?

Past Tense:

1. Had they left for France?

2. Had she been waiting for him.
