Answer:
- Spider: A spider catches its prey by creating a web. The web is generally so smooth and sticky in nature so that when the prey accidentally land on the web gets adhesive to the web and finds it difficult to move. This makes the spider to move fast on the web and helps to corner the prey and consume it.
- Frog: The special feature of the frog for catching its prey is its long sticky tongue. This long sticky tongue helps in catching the small insects and other flies completely into them. It swallows the entire prey into its mouth after catching.
- Centipede: Centipede uses its antennae to catch its prey. The antenna has poisonous venom in it which helps in grabbing the prey and consuming them.
- Snake: Snakes either use their poisonous venom on its prey or it completely twists around the body of the prey so that the prey stops breathing so that the entire prey could be swallowed at an instance. This is because, snakes have wider mouth capable of swallowing the entire prey into its mouth.
- Hawk: A hawk has sharp claws which helps in holding or attacking its prey very easily. These sharp claws help in grabbing the prey and help in tearing them apart for eating.
