Dear Mohit:
I hope this letter finds you in great health and spirits. As you had asked me in your previous letter about the climatic conditions in my country, well, they have changed a lot. People in our country are not environment conscious. They don’t care for their natural resources.
Millions of hectares of forests have been cut; rivers have been turned into dumping places for industrial waste and garbage. In order to live in comfort, nature has been sacrificed. All this has led to climatic changes. The summer is extremely hot and winter extremely cold. Monsoons also have become quite erratic, sometimes it rains too much, and sometimes it is drought. At times I become exceedingly worried about the future.
