the figure consist 4 resistances let us suppose we have to find the equivalant resistances  along ABand let the current is flowing through 50 Ω at node P current is divide into two part , one part of the is  current flowingthrough 300Ω and  (100,50)Ωnow  the resistance of 100Ω and 50 Ω are in series so equivalant resistance is 150Ωsince the is dividind at point P so 150 Ω and 300Ω are in parrallelso equivalant of these two  150×300150+300= 100Ωnow this 100Ω is in series with 50 Ωso total resistance along AB is 100+50 =150Ω
