1. What is meant by Arithmetic Progressions?

Answer: Arithmetic Progressions refer to the series of numbers that are sorted in a particular order. The numbers in an arithmetic progression are so arranged that the difference between every two consecutive numbers is the same. It is abbreviated as A.P.

For example, {1, 3, 5, 7, 9} is an arithmetic progression, in which the difference between every two consecutive numbers is 2. The difference between every two consecutive numbers in an A.P. is known as the common difference
