Answer:

For Isochoric;

  1. P-T graph slope is inversely proportional to its volume.
  2. If slope pass through 100℅ origin then only it is Isochoric ghraph.
  3. For P-T graph, V3>V2>V1

  • WORK DONE =0 (∆V=0).

  • BULK MODULUS = INFINITY (∆V=0)

  • ACC. FIRST LAW,

Q=∆U.

  • C(isochoric)= C(v)

  • ∆U=nCv∆T

  • Q=nCv∆T

  • P/T=constant

Isochoric Process : A thermodynamic process in which volume remains constant is called isochoric process.

SOME KEY POINTS FOR ISOCHORIC PROCESS :

\green{\boxed{\underline{\underline{\sf{Slope \: of\: P-V \:Graph :}}}}}

  • The slope of P-V graph is infinitely.

 \longrightarrow \sf{  \tan \theta \:  =  \frac{dp}{dv} }

As, Volume is constant

 \longrightarrow \sf{  \tan \theta \:  =  \frac{dp}{0} }

  \boxed{\longrightarrow \sf{  \tan \theta \:  =  \infty \: }}

\green{\boxed{\underline{\underline{\sf{Gay \: Lussac's\: Law \: :}}}}}

  • It obeys Gay Lussac Law which tells that Pressure is directly proportional to temperature.

 \longrightarrow \sf{P  \propto \: T }

\green{\boxed{\underline{\underline{\sf{Work\: Done \: :}}}}}

  • Work done for Isochoric Process is zero since volume is constant.

\green{\boxed{\underline{\underline{\sf{Bulk \: Modulus \: :}}}}}

  • Bulk Modulus for Isochoric Process is infinity.

 \longrightarrow \sf{B  =  \frac{dp}{ (\frac{ - dv}{v} )}  }

 \longrightarrow \sf{B \:  =  \frac{dp \times v}{ - dv}}

As Volume is constant,

 \longrightarrow \sf{B \:  =  \frac{dp \times v}{0}}

  \boxed{\longrightarrow \sf{ B=  \infty \: }}

\green{\boxed{\underline{\underline{\sf{Heat (Q) \: :}}}}}

 \longrightarrow Q = ∆U + W

 \longrightarrow Q = ∆U ( As, W = 0 for isochronic process)

 \longrightarrow \sf Q = nC_v ∆T
