1. Individual Resources (House, Car, Motorcycle, Sofa, etc.)
2. Community Resources (Park, School, Mandir, etc.)
3. National Resources (All the Resource in the Vicinity of a Nation, belongs to it, and the Nation has legal powers to use these lands, for the Well- being of the People)
4. International Resources (No one has the Right to Exploit these Resources. In order to use these resources, a nation has to take the Permission of International Organizations. These are mostly Oceanic Resources.)
[2] The Types of Resources, based on their Exhaustibility, are:
1. Renewable Resources: These Resources can get renewed in very less time. For e.g.: Solar Energy, Hydroelectricity, Wind Energy, etc.
2. Non- Renewable Resources: These Resources can get Replenished, and Take Millions of years to reform. For e.g.: Petroleum, Natural Gas, etc.
The Types of Resources, based on their Origin, are:
1. Biotic Resources: These Resources are living. For e.g.: Edible Plants for eating, jute for making bags, meat for nonvegetarian consumption, etc.
2. Abiotic Resources: These Resources are non-living. For e.g.: Rock, Salt, Petroleum, etc.
[3] The Types of Resources, based on their Development, are:
1. Developed Resources: Developed resources are those which are estimated in terms of their quantity and quality for utilization, e.g., water, soil, forests.
2. Potential Resources: Potential resources are those which are found in a region, but have not been utilized. For example, solar energy and wind energy, available in Rajasthan and Gujarat, have not been developed properly.
3. Stock Resources: Materials in the environment which have the potential to satisfy human needs but are not technologically accessible to human beings, e.g., use of water as a rich source of energy.
3. Reserve Resources: Reserve is a part of stock which can be put to use in the near future with the help of existing technology, e.g., water in dams, forests.
