Since we are facing a very different time this year, where the whole world is locked in homes to break the Pandemic Coronavirus’ chain, there are reasons to feel the positivity it brings for mother Earth! We have celebrated 50th anniversary of Earth day on 22nd April, which was special as this year, mother Earth gets a chance to heal herself!
To defeat this deadly virus, everything is locked down, the factories are shut, public transport are closed, no cars and vehicles are allowed in roads, offices, gyms, restaurants, schools, colleges, businesses are closed. In short, human beings are not disrupting nature like before. Birds are chirping, air pollution is decreasing, water is clearer and animals are returning to their habitats. Sky is clearly visible with beautiful star, moon and even Venus every night. Rivers are self-cleaning in absence of industrial wastes in India.Ganges water in Rishikesh is even fit for drinking for first time in years. China and other countries have recorded less pollution, dolphins are returning to seas all around.
Our earth is happy again! Mother earth is healing quickly without our pollution, Coronavirus is not the actual virus, it's like a vaccine for earth, against the real virus which are human being! It is time to realize we have to reduce plastic waste, all kind of pollutants and our carbon footprints. We need to stop cutting trees endlessly, take care of our rivers and waters and start giving back to mother earth even after Corona virus is gone.
