Let dd be the common difference. The sum of the first 1212 terms is then

4+(4+d)+(4+2d)+ ... +(4+11d)

4+(4+d)+(4+2d)+ ... +(4+11d)

Recall now the key fact that the sum of the first nn integers is (n+1)n2(n+1)n2. Obviously you can write the expression for the sum of the first 88 terms similarly and it should now reduce just to arithmetic.

Answer:

(-3), 3,9,15,.....

Step-by-step explanation:

general form of AP

a, a+d,a+2d,a+3d,a+4d

a =(-3)

and d=6

-3,(-3)+6,(-3)+2×6,+(-3)+3×6

(-3),3,(-3)+12,(-3)+18

(-3),3,9,15,.........
