Given First term in A.P = a = a1 = -1.25
common difference (d) = 3
second term = a + d
a2 = -1.25 + 3 = 1.75
Third term = a + 2d
a3 = -1.25 + 2 × 3
= -1.25 + 6
= 4.75
nth term = a + ( n -1 )d
= - 1.25 + ( n - 1 )3
= -1.25 + 3n - 3
= 3n - 4.25
Therefore ,
Required A.P is
-1.25 , 1.75, 4.75 , ....., ( 3n - 4.25 )
