common difference of an A.P.

Then the terms are

a , a + d , a + 2d , ....

Here ,

first term = a = a1 = -19 ,

Common difference = ( d ) = -4

Second term = a + d

a2 = -19 - 4 = -23

Third term = a + 2d

a3 = -19 + 2( -4 )

= -19 - 8

= - 27

nth term = an

an = a + ( n - 1 )d

= -19 + ( n - 1 )( -4 )

= -19 - 4n + 4

= -4m - 15

Therefore ,

Required A P is

-19 , -23 , -27 , ...., ( -4m - 15 )
