- Triiodothyronine (T3)
- Thyroxine (T4)
- Calcitonin
# Functions of thyroid hormones -
- Increases metabolic rate
- Growth and development of bone, soft tissues
- Increases sensitivity to catecholamines
- Stimulates heart rate and contractility
- Stimulate protein and fat synthesis
- Maintains electrolyte balance
- Helps in red cell formation
