pituitary gland is known as the king of glands..
it is located in the hind brain.. it regulates and commands the functions of all other glands...

It is the master gland that secrete most of the hormones that controls the rhythm of life. It is located in the sella tursica region in sphenoid bone. It secretes growth hormone, FSH,LH, oxytocin, vasopressin. Etc
