          Blastula is an early development of an embryo, consisting of a spherical cell layer and a fluid-filled cavity called the blastocoel. The cells of the blastula form an epithelial layer, called the blastoderm. Blastula is developed from morula and comprises 128 cells. Blastulation leads to the development of cell polarity, axis formation, cell specification as well as regulation of gene expression.
