Answer:

Munda revolt was started by the Munda tribe. It was started at the end of the nineteenth century. The head of this revolt was Birsa Munda.

They had started revolting because they found the British rule oppressive and impertinent for them. It was like a torcher for them. They had then commenced opposing the Christian missionaries. They wanted to relive their culture which was lost(satyayug) where everyone was truthful. They thought Britishers were liars and corrupt.

They attacked police stations and other places of the Britishers. This began because the Britishers made many policies which were disrespectful for their culture. This also happened because one day,the followers of birsa munda had gathered to discuss about revolting against the Britishers. Unfortunately,British officials did open arm firing and innumerable people were brutally killed and massacred. They thought of setting up a Birsa Raj with birsa munda as their head.

They hated the Hindu landlords, officers and other people who were disrespecting towards the munda culture.
