1- take a tumbler or a glass and insert you mobile phone in it.

2- now ask one of ur friends or family member to call .

3- u can hera the ring of the mobile phone.

4- now place your hands on the tumbler leaving some space in middle to place your mouth.

5- now place ur mouth and try to suvk the complete air out of the tumbler. and immediately close the tumbler.

now ask one of ur friend or family members to call . but now u cannot hear the sound as there is a vacuum in the tumbler. therefore sounds needs a medium to travel.
