HEYA MATE❤️!

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER!!

1.TAKE TWO PAPER CUPS.

2.HALF FILL ONE OF THE CUPS WITH WATER.

3.NOW PLACE BOTH THE CUPS ON TWO SEPERATE SPIRIT LAMPS AND HEAT THE CUPS SLOWLY.

OBSERVATION

WE WILL OBSERVE AFTER SOMETIME THAT THE PAPER CUP WITHOUT WATER CATCHES FIRE BUT THE CUP WITH WATER DOES NOT.

REASON FOR OBSERVATION

THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE THE IGNITION TEMPERATURE OF PAPER CUP CONTAINING WATER IS NOT ACHIEVED AS A PART OF HEAT SUPPLIED TO THE PAPER CUP IS ABSORBED BY THE WATER,H ENCE,IT DOESN'T CATCH FIRE.

THIS ACTIVITY SHOWS THAT IT IS REQUIRED TO INCREASE THE TEMPERATURE OF A SUBSTANCE ABOVE IGNITION TEMPERATURE TO MAKE IT CATCH FIRE.
