Answer :-

Aim :- To show that attraction is not a sure test to know the presence of a charge on a body.

Material required :- Two magnets .

Procedure :-

Mark north and south pole of magnet.

• First case :- Take Two North Pole on the same side.

• Second case :- Take two unlike poles that is north and south pole on the same side .

• Note the observation.

Observation :-

  • In first case you observed that the North Pole of one magnet repel with the North Pole of another magnet.
  • In second case, The North Pole of one magnet attract the south pole of another magnet.

Conclusion :-

From first case, we conclude that the attraction is not a sure test to know the presence of a charge on a body because like poles always repel each other .
