Take a long and thin strip of iron and put wax on it at regular interval points. Heat the other end of the iron strip.
We will observe that as the end being heated becomes hotter, it gradually transfers heat to the other end. This is proven by the melting of the wax pieces placed at intervals. So this proven by the experiment that conduction of heat is taking place in the metal in active format.
