Answer:

Take a plastic bottle or a beaker which has tube like structure. Fill the container full with water. Now with any sharp object make holes to the container one by one from top to bottom. You can observe that water flowing out from top holes are coming with less force and falling just infront of the beaker.

Answer:

Liquids:  We know pressure is given by force per unit area, since liquid has weight in it therefore liquid exert pressure on the bottom of the container as well as the side walls of the container depending upon the amount of water above the observation point.

Gases:  According to the kinetic energy theory of the molecules of the gas particle, gas molecules move with some finite kinetic energy and collide to the walls of the containers and exert the pressure on the walls.

activity

Take a container and heat it with a little water inside, and after that, a keep a boiled egg on the open mouth (provided the size of egg is a little bigger that the open mouth diameter). Now on cooling the container the egg will go inside. The reason is on heating air goes out with water vapor and during cooling a vacuum creates. Now air pressure act on the container and also on egg. As the boiled egg is compressible it goes inside.  Take a container (having thin wall) and heat it with a little water inside, and after that, close the container tightly with lead. Now on cooling the container will shrink. The reason is on heating air goes out with water vapor. On cooling a vacuum creates. The air from outside exerts a lot of pressure, but there is no gas inside to counter balance the pressure, and the container shrinks.  When we pump a balloon to inflate it we insert air into an empty flexible balloon bag. The air after entering inside the air exerts pressure on the walls of the balloon as a result of which the balloon enlarges in size. This activity shows that air exerts pressure.
