If a piece of charcoal is taken and set on fire it will evolve CO2 and heat. Charcoal is solid but carbon dioxide is gaseous. This is an example of change of state and evolve of heat during chemical reaction.

RoCkstrong: Which activity is it
RoCkstrong: In the ncert????
Flicker: I guess it is the CHANGE IN TEMPERATURE
RoCkstrong: During a chemical reaction
RoCkstrong: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
divyathadani: change of state
divyathadani: of matter

When water is boiled at a temperature of 100 degree Celsius then it starts to boil at a high rate, due to the increase in temperature the water gets converted into gas. This process is known as evaporation.

RoCkstrong: CHEMICAL REACTION
RoCkstrong: !!!!!!!!!!
Flicker: Ok when an incense stick is burnt then it produces vapours which is gas. This happens due to the increase in temperature. Increase in temperature means more vapours produced.
Flicker: is it FINE ?????
