write an activity when sodium sulphate react with Barium chloride and what do you infer from their reaction
Answers
Answer:-
Reaction of Barium Chloride with Sodium sulphate:
When Barium Chloride reacts with Sodium sulphate, a white precipitate called Barium Sulphate is formed with common salt (Sodium chloride).
This is an example of Precipitation reaction.
A double displacement reaction which two compounds react with each other (by exchanging their ions to each other) to form a precipitate along with salt or water is called Precipitation reaction.
A Precipitate is an insoluble compound formed after a reaction.
Chemical equation:
BaCl₂ + Na₂SO₄ ⟶ 2NaCl + BaSO₄
Answer:
✏ When sodium sulphate solution react with barium chloride solution results in double displacement reaction in which ions are exchange.
Chemical Reaction :-
✴ NS + BaC ➡ 2NaCl + BaS ✴
✏ In this reaction barium sulphate and sodium chloride are formed, the solution in water consists only sodium chloride because sodium chloride dissolves in water while barium sulphate it settle down and a white precipitate is formed.
