Hello!

The easiest method to solve these kinds of questions is to assume the answer as a variable.

Let the supplement be x.
As per the question,
Another angle = 1/3 of x

Sum of two supplement angles = 180°
x + \frac{1}{3} x = 180 \\ \frac{3x + x}{3} = 180 \\ \frac{4x}{3} = 180 \\ 4x = 540 \\ x = \frac{540}{4} \\ x = 135
x = 135°

Your answer = 180-x = 180-135 = 45°
