Sir,
On the subject mentioned above, I would like to bring to your attention the lack of streetlights in Mother Teresa Road area.
In spite of sending several applications to the power department and meeting the authorities to address the issue, nothing has been done till date.
Streetlights are necessary to prevent criminal activities and anti-social elements at night. They make the community feel secure and safe. They also prevent avoidable accidents.
I therefore request you to take up the matter with the power department to provide streetlights to this locality at the earliest in the interest of the residents in particular and the public in general.
