I am ……. of class IX . I am writing this letter requesting your permission, to organise the Annual Day function, of our school, in December, this year.

I will take care of all the required arrangements , with the help of my classmates. I feel it will give the talented students an opportunity to display their talents. We are planning to have a small skit in English, some folk dances and a musical choir by the students of our Music Club.

The duration of the programme will be of around 3 hours . If you grant us the permission, we shall make arrangements from tomorrow itself. Sir, please permit us to hold the event and we will put in our best efforts, to make it a grand event.
