I am ABC of class X - A of your school. Through this letter I request you to grant me exemption in participation in the annual day function of our school. Sir, last week I had got a injury in my left leg. Even there was a minor surgery to cure it. Still it has not been properly cured. It hurts and gives a lot pain in any movement. I have concerned doctor, he advised me to have a proper rest of 1 - week and to avoid any unnecessary movement of leg.
That's why sir, I cannot participate in the program of our school. Even before 2 days I had been on leave for past 4 days due to this. I request you to please grant me this exemption. I have a copy of medical certificate of mine's of this case.

I am Savee, student of class IX A of your school. I need to seek your permission to leave and I would like to exclude myself from the Annual function this year.
Sir, I need to leave due to sudden demise of my great-grand-father. Me and my family needs to go to my home town and out of station for 15 days which will eventually cover the time being of the Annual function. Therefore, I need to leave my position as the host of the skit "The Necklace" which is being conducted this year.
